Vitamix Grapefruit Smoothie

Here is a grapefruit.

I want to get as much whole food out of it as possible. So I only peel the skin,

and divide it into a few pieces.

Instead of chewing them all to get all the nutrients from whole food, I put them into Vitamix.

And after 30 seconds:

Now what's in the Vitamix is not just the fruit juice - this is whole food (less skin) including seeds, pulps, fibers, etc, the nutrients I can't get from the juice alone. By the way, the seeds disappear completely. Vitamix does a much better job than me chewing them.  It says on the Vitamix website,
